Overview

The bridge is a 4-lane dual carriageway structure spanning over 4 electrified railway lines, with pedestrian walkways on each side and a central island.

Through extensive experience in this sector, sophisticated, safe planning and innovative engineering techniques, we managed to deliver the project 8 weeks ahead of the target date and within budget, with zero accidents or incidents.

Scope

  • Improved lifespan of structure
  • Replacement of Bridge Bearings, renew waterproofing and joints. Strengthen Structure.
  • Improved walkway drainage on both sides of the structure –
  • Installation of Drainage system on structure such as drainage kerbs
    and walkway drainage
  • Improved highway safety – PSV rating improved on structure.
  • Anti-Suicide mesh installed to structure. Additional Lighting
    improvement works.
  • Improved environment and landscaping – Drainage and vegetation
    works undertaken.
  • Major resurfacing works to full depth reconstruction >8,000m2
  • New Paving to footpaths. Over 800m of new kerbing Installed
  • New central barrier installed – New pedestrian barriers installed
